About the position
The LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) position is a PRN (as needed) role based in Enid, Oklahoma. The primary purpose of this role is to provide nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring high-quality patient care and support in various healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with patient assessments and documentation of care provided.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and care plans.
Requirements
- Current LPN license in the state of Oklahoma.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification.
