About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community is responsible for providing high-quality in-home nursing care to residents. This part-time position involves working in a supportive environment that emphasizes Christian values and community service, with a focus on enriching the lives of older adults.

Requirements

• Must be licensed as a practical nurse in the State of Pennsylvania.
• Post licensure experience preferred but not required.
• Must demonstrate CPR competencies.
• Evidence of continuing education in line with community, state, and federal regulations.
• Must possess quality mindedness, critical thinking, initiative in leadership responsibilities, interpersonal sensitivity, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing in-home nursing care to villagers via scheduled appointments, wellness checks, and emergency responses.
• Scheduling and following up with routine lab appointments for villagers.
• Participating in weekly care team meetings to assist with care coordination.
• Collaborating with physicians and/or RNs as needed.
• Assisting in the scheduling and administering of yearly flu vaccines to villagers/staff.
