About the position
The LPN Supervisor at The Bristal Assisted Living is responsible for overseeing a team of nurses, home health aides, resident care aides, and medication technicians in a busy Resident Services Center. This role involves providing assistance to residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and administering medications while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The position requires a hands-on approach to resident care, emphasizing kindness and compassion.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a staff of nurses, HHA's, resident care aides, and medication technicians.
- Act as the shift supervisor in the absence of the Director.
- Assist residents with ADLs and medication administration.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide resident care services with kindness and compassion.
- Participate in assisting residents to ensure their safety and comfort needs are met.
Requirements
- Valid NY LPN License.
- Experience in supervising staff and medication oversight in an Assisted Living or Nursing Home environment.
- Experience with dementia and/or Alzheimer's patients preferred.
- Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a busy Resident Services Center.
- Understanding of MARs and doctors' orders.
