About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Caretenders Home Health is responsible for delivering quality patient care in a home health setting. This role emphasizes the importance of meaningful connections with patients, their families, and the healthcare team, ensuring comprehensive care that adheres to state nursing laws and the established plan of care.

Requirements

• Current LPN licensure in the state of Kentucky.
• Current Driver's License and vehicle insurance.
• Access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care and perform technical skilled care in the patient's home.
• Deliver services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws governing nursing.
• Complete a progress note for each visit and submit them to the agency daily.
• Observe and report the patient's nursing needs continuously.
• Instruct the patient's family on care and maintenance of a healthy environment.
• Record and report the patient's response to treatment and any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or physician.
