About the position
Barrett Hospital & HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department and Med/Surg Team. The role involves the practice of professional nursing, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric. Registered Nurses are expected to function independently in the Special Care Unit, providing compassionate and reliable care to the community.
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patient needs and conditions.
- Plan and implement nursing care for patients.
- Provide interventions and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
Requirements
- License in the State of Montana.
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- ACLS and NRP certifications required within 12 months.
- Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
