About the position

AMIB Inc is looking for an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide essential services to individuals with visual impairments and intellectual/developmental disabilities in a group home setting. The role involves administering medications, assisting with feeding through Peg-tube, and supporting individuals in achieving their Individual Support Plan (ISP) goals while ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer services to individuals with visual impairments and intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Manage medication administration and feeding through Peg-tube.
• Assist individuals in achieving their ISP goals.
• Complete Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Adhere to all agency policies and procedures.
• Work independently and collaboratively with a team.

Requirements

• Experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Ability to work in a group home environment.
• Knowledge of medication administration and Peg-tube feeding.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assist with ISP goals and ADLs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
