About the position

The Legal Processing Service (LPS) Analyst role is focused on interpreting and coordinating responses to third-party legal services, including subpoenas and summonses. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret third party legal services response requirements.
• Search and identify product type/case information relative to Comerica relationships.
• Gather relevant documents by performing all activities needed to gather information, request documentation from across the organization, and coordinate court appearances.
• Communicate with requesters of third-party legal services.
• Negotiate the scope and response deadlines for third party legal services with requesters.
• Interact with Corporate Counsel, business unit personnel, and management to address third party legal service requests.
• Prepare, maintain, and organize documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and relevance of documentation being released to requesters of third-party legal services.

Requirements

• Associates degree from an accredited college with coursework in Law or Finance.
• Two years of experience researching and analyzing documents.
• Two years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
