About the position

Torch Technologies is seeking a Systems/Test Engineer to support systems security engineering, focusing on supply chain risk management, information assurance, and anti-tamper technologies. The role involves applying knowledge of encryption technology and compliance with various defense standards to ensure the security and integrity of systems. The engineer will engage in a range of systems engineering processes, including requirements management, risk assessment, and technical planning, contributing to the certification and accreditation of defense programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee/manage cybersecurity requirements and their verification plans.
• Support anti-tamper and key management planning, requirements and verification plans.
• Utilize anti-tamper expertise to provide recommendations on risk assessment and verification testing.
• Support as needed for 'quantum resistant' data encryption planning/implementation.
• Experience in DoD systems acquisition processes and policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical degree (e.g., physics, cybersecurity).
• 6 years' relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• At least 3 years of experience in systems engineering with working knowledge in cybersecurity, software or digital systems.
• Development, derivation, tracing and tracking system requirements.
• Technical management in leading test planning and requirements verification activities.
• Familiarity with Military Standards related to automated test equipment.
• Familiarity with DoD Acquisition processes or project management professional principles.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have an active TOP SECRET DoD security clearance.
