As an Outside Sales Executive for our Less-than-Truckload (LTL) department at Total Quality Logistics (TQL), you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of one of our newest departments. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to identify and capitalize on high-volume LTL opportunities. You will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with customers, ultimately leading to the closing of large accounts. This is a unique opportunity to join a team that is focused on tapping into a nearly un-tapped customer base, allowing you to make a significant impact from the ground floor. In this role, you will engage with new clients to identify companies that have substantial LTL needs. Your responsibilities will include aggressively working potential accounts through the entire sales cycle, which involves initiating contact, building relationships, qualifying opportunities, closing deals, and onboarding new clients. You will collaborate closely with the LTL Pricing Team to develop customized and competitive proposals that meet the specific needs of your clients. Additionally, you will create and deliver presentations to prospective customers, showcasing TQL's value-added LTL services. To ensure continued revenue growth, you will work with the sales floor to address and resolve any issues that may arise with LTL accounts. You will also lead or assist in account reviews with customers, discussing performance, forecasts, and future opportunities for LTL solutions. Participation in meetings and trade shows may be required, and you will be expected to communicate customer and market trends to TQL's senior leadership, ensuring that the company remains competitive and responsive to market demands.
