About the position

The LTO Associate position at Pactiv Evergreen involves operating lift trucks and managing clerical processing of shipments in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential for maintaining efficient material flow and ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to safety policies. The position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team, with responsibilities that include scheduling shipments, coordinating with drivers, and maintaining inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Operate lift trucks and forklifts to manage shipments.
• Follow all plant safety policies and procedures.
• Schedule shipments to maintain minimal finished goods while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Plan and control material flow for JIT requirements with receiving locations.
• Coordinate with spotter drivers for loads coming in and going out.
• Maintain Grant Park shipping rules.
• Update databases and perform SAP inventory transactions.
• Conduct daily cycle counts.
• Assist warehouse lead with incoming flake receipts.
• Work with Logistics Lead on trailer movements from plant to warehouse.
• Assist in month-end inventory processes.
• Participate in safety programs.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience operating lift trucks, forklifts, reach or clamp trucks.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Strong organizational skills to manage shipments and inventory.
