About the position
The Automotive Lube Technician at Wesley Chapel Honda is responsible for performing vehicle maintenance tasks in accordance with dealership and factory standards. This role involves conducting minor maintenance, performing complete vehicle inspections, and communicating maintenance recommendations to service advisors. The position emphasizes customer service and teamwork within a fast-paced automotive environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
- Change engine oil and filters as part of minor maintenance tasks.
- Conduct complete vehicle maintenance inspections including tires, brakes, and fluid levels.
- Communicate appropriate vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison.
Requirements
- Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
- Experience as an express/quick lube technician preferred.
- Ability to operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, including both manual and automatic transmissions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
