About the position
The Field Lube Service Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance on various heavy equipment and machinery at Staker Parson Companies. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and reliability in maintaining equipment such as mobile power generators, wheel loaders, and dozers. The technician will manage their time effectively, track parts and tools, and ensure compliance with safety policies.
Responsibilities
- Understand and implement company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform preventative maintenance schedules according to company specifications.
- Manage personal time effectively in assigned areas.
- Track and manage parts and tools required for maintenance tasks.
- Handle problems professionally during high-pressure situations.
- Assist in ensuring the reliability and performance of equipment.
- Follow any other job responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years of technical field experience servicing heavy equipment and trucks.
- Valid Driver's License with a Commercial Driver's License (Class A).
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
- Working knowledge of Windows-based computers.
Nice-to-haves
- MSHA and OSHA training is a positive.
- Experience with database software.
