About the position
The Lube Technician at Take 5 Oil Change is responsible for providing fast and friendly automotive services in a drive-thru format. This role involves assisting customers with oil changes and other light maintenance services while ensuring a high level of customer service. The position offers extensive training for individuals from various backgrounds, emphasizing both technical skills and customer service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting oil type and other services
- Perform engine oil and oil filter changes
- Inspect and top off automotive fluids
- Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure
- Perform coolant exchanges
- Replace air/cabin filters and windshield wipers
- Process payment for services performed
- Restock and maintain inventory levels on the shop floor
- Maintain store organization and cleanliness
- Utilize internal resources for personal growth
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
- Ability to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3' deep pit
- Strong retail and customer-facing experience (preferred)
