The Lube Technician position at Greg Hubler Automotive is a full-time role focused on providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate guests needs and provide exceptional guest service
  • Ensure that interior protective floormats and seat covers are installed in guest vehicles
  • Safely maneuver guest vehicles in and out of quick lane service bays
  • Safely lift vehicles using manufacturer recommended lift points
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance: changing engine oil and filter, quick testing batteries, topping off fluids, replacing air filters, cabin filters, wipers, setting tire pressures, rotating and balancing of tires, mounting and dismounting of tires, patch plug tires, light bulb installation, and lubing of steering and suspension components
  • Torque wheels to proper manufacturer specifications and reset tire pressure monitoring sensors
  • Perform accurate and effective Multi point vehicle inspections using provided inspection tools making upsell recommendations based on failed inspection items or dealer/manufacturer recommended service intervals
  • Reset oil life monitoring system in guest vehicles
  • Install accurate service reminder stickers in driver side upper corner of guest vehicle windshields
  • Cleaning any grease or residue left from service on guest vehicles prior to delivery
  • Staying current in manufacturer fundamental training and vehicle updates

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
  • Clean driving record & valid driver's license required
  • Basic set of tools including air impact gun
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment efficiently
  • Ability to follow processes and take direction
  • Must be punctual and be able to work Saturday
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 75lbs
  • Withstand being on your feet for up to 10hrs on concrete daily
  • Must be able to work in a non air conditioned environment
