About the position

The Luxury Beauty Advisor (LBA) at Ulta Beauty is responsible for maximizing sales in Luxury brands by engaging guests to understand their needs and assisting them in selecting and purchasing merchandise. This role emphasizes exceptional guest service, product knowledge, and maintaining store standards while supporting the Experience Manager in achieving sales and service goals.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize sales in Luxury brands by engaging guests and assisting in merchandise selection.
  • Meet or exceed sales and clientele goals for Luxury brands and contribute to overall store goals.
  • Provide exceptional guest service by personalizing interactions and offering samples and recommendations.
  • Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to enhance the guest experience.
  • Book appointments and support in-store events to drive sales and guest engagement.
  • Maintain cleanliness and operational standards in the Luxury brand area and throughout the store.
  • Participate in training and development to enhance product knowledge and sales performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Cosmetology or demonstrator license where required by state law.
  • Experience in cosmetics artistry preferred.
  • Demonstrated passion for sales and beauty products.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in retail sales or customer service.
  • Knowledge of luxury beauty brands and products.
