About the position

We are seeking a friendly and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Concierge at a Luxury High Rise Condominium. This position is crucial as the Concierge serves as the public face of the building, greeting and assisting residents, visitors, and vendors in a helpful and courteous manner. The role involves a variety of responsibilities that contribute to the overall security and daily operations of the building. The Concierge will be responsible for completing various administrative functions that cater to the needs of residents while always maintaining a professional demeanor. As the first point of contact, the Concierge will greet residents, visitors, and vendors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This includes notifying residents of their visitors' arrivals and assisting with incoming and outgoing packages, while also maintaining the Package Room in an orderly fashion. The Concierge will answer resident inquiries about building amenities and assist with making reservations for the Guest Suite, Owners' Lounge, or Conference Room. Additionally, the role requires answering phone calls promptly and professionally, directing callers to the appropriate individuals, and taking messages as needed. Security is a key aspect of this position; therefore, the Concierge will monitor security cameras, conduct regular security sweeps, and respond to urgent and emergency situations. Familiarity with building systems and emergency procedures is essential. The Concierge will work closely with the building manager to monitor service vendors and contractors, ensuring they adhere to building standards, rules, and decorum. Managing vendor parking, building and elevator access, and the distribution of key fobs are also part of the responsibilities. A thorough knowledge of the Building Rules and Regulations is required to effectively assist residents and maintain a safe and pleasant living environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Professional, friendly telephone and greeting skills.
  • Customer service experience is essential.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and the Internet.
