About the position

As a Jewelry Consultant at Brilliant Earth, you will provide an exceptional customer experience by guiding clients through the purchasing process in both in-person and virtual settings. This role involves utilizing sales strategies and product knowledge to assist customers in selecting jewelry that matches their needs, while also meeting sales targets in a fast-paced environment. The position is based in the Washington, D.C. showroom and requires a full-time commitment, including weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize sales strategies and deep product knowledge to guide customers through multiple purchasing decisions via appointments and walk-in consultations.
  • Manage a high volume of incoming sales leads via email, live chat, and phones to attain individual revenue targets.
  • Proactively greet, check-in, and assist customers in the purchasing process.
  • Conduct post-sale appointments to assist and educate customers returning for pick-ups, exchanges, re-sizing, and other inquiries.
  • Call customers to confirm showroom appointments and answer any pre-appointment questions.
  • Review customer feedback surveys and online reviews to improve customer experience and sales performance.
  • Enforce policies within the waiting room to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all guests.
  • Open and/or close the showroom and waiting area.
  • Use the ERP system to manage tasks and communicate cross-functionally.
  • Act as a brand advocate, sharing the mission of creating a more sustainable, transparent, and compassionate jewelry industry.
