About the position

The Regional Luxury Sales Manager at Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) is responsible for driving the sales and distribution of TWE's luxury wine portfolio in the New York Metro market. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and distributor partners to achieve annual sales goals, monitor distributor performance, and develop market strategies. The manager will focus on increasing sales volume, enhancing brand presence, and ensuring compliance with company standards while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and deliver TWE's annual Luxury goals in the designated markets.
  • Monitor and evaluate distributor performance against TWE Luxury market goals.
  • Grow Treasury Wine Estates Luxury portfolio depletion volume and distribution within top accounts.
  • Assist with the development of distributor pricing and program strategies.
  • Formulate market plans by channel and account.
  • Allocate resources to key retailers in the market.
  • Ensure compliance of National On & Off Premise account programs by TWE team and distributor partners.
  • Lead education initiatives with distributor sales personnel on the TWE Brand Portfolio.
  • Use market data to identify opportunities and share insights with the Distributor Sales Team.
  • Participate in monthly business reviews with the Distributor Management team.
  • Develop win-win solutions for retailers, TWE, and distributor partners.
  • Monitor competitor activities and communicate strategies to supervisors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of previous professional outside wine sales experience.
  • Experience managing luxury national accounts in both on and off premise.
  • Three-tier management experience in the wine/alcohol beverage industry.
  • Strong understanding of luxury sales and consumer habits.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong persuasive presentation skills.
  • Negotiation and mediation skills with the ability to influence others.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining key trade account relationships.
  • Ability to manage tasks independently and exercise judgment without supervision.
  • Analytical skills to develop customer/distributor strategies based on competitive data.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of wine and growing techniques is helpful but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and desktop publishing programs.
  • High integrity and a strong work ethic.
