About the position
The Luxury Style Advisor at Saks Fifth Avenue is responsible for enhancing the shopping experience by welcoming customers, providing assistance, and guiding them to their desired locations within the store. This role requires a strong knowledge of the store's offerings and services, as well as the ability to create a welcoming environment and address customer needs effectively.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers as they enter the store and proactively offer assistance.
- Provide directions and answer questions to help customers navigate the store.
- Utilize knowledge of store layout and merchandise to guide customers to appropriate areas.
- Assess customer needs quickly and provide personalized assistance based on their interests and requirements.
- Leverage relationships with other Style Advisors to enhance customer service and experience.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment to address customer concerns.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Fluency in multiple languages, with Mandarin being a strong asset.
- Ability to create a welcoming environment and provide dynamic service presence.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task effectively.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in retail or customer service roles.
- Technological savvy with familiarity in using various devices like Blackberry and iPad.
