About the position

The Luxury Travel Sales and Customer Experience Manager at Gaia is responsible for selling luxury tours and high-end offerings while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role involves managing member services activities and requires a strong background in luxury B2C sales. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a solution-oriented mindset, thriving in a dynamic environment focused on conscious living and community empowerment.

Responsibilities

  • Sell luxury tours and high-end marketplace offerings while providing white glove customer service.
  • Manage day-to-day customer service activities, including setting up response templates and prioritizing inquiries.
  • Address customer issues to ensure high satisfaction and repeat business, including handling refunds and exchanges.
  • Collaborate with the Marketplace team to enhance customer experience and achieve positive outcomes.
  • Devise and implement sales strategies and customer interaction processes to meet and exceed revenue goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in B2C sales, preferably within the luxury travel sector or high-dollar, complex offerings.
  • Ability to turn customer complaints into advocacy through effective issue resolution.
  • Demonstrated expertise in communicating effectively with diverse personalities from various cultures.
  • Proven sales skills with a strong ability to manage brand and product perceptions.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.
