About the position

Arlington Gardens Care Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team. You will also have the opportunity to participate in training programs that can help you transition from an LVN to a Registered Nurse (RN) through our LVN to RN (ADN) program, which is available at minimal cost to you. The position requires working the PM shift from 3 PM to 11 PM on a full-time basis, with a 4/2 rotation. Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and record patient health status and vital signs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
  • Provide compassionate care and support to residents and their families.
  • Assist in the training and education of new staff members.

Requirements

  • Current LVN license in California.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Interest in pursuing further education to become an RN.
  • Previous experience in a nursing home or assisted living facility.
