About the position

As a LVN Charge Nurse at Baylor Scott & White Health, you will provide essential patient care within designated units, performing assessments, contributing to care plans, and documenting patient changes. This role involves supervising nursing care efforts, assigning tasks to personnel, and ensuring accountability for quality care delivery. You will also take corrective actions when necessary to maintain high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer clinical assessments with reasoning.
• Identify and prioritize patient needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing plans.

Requirements

• Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent education level.
• Pursued or obtained a major in Nursing.
• A minimum of 2 years' prior experience in a relevant field is required.
• Must be a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
• Holds a Basic Life Support certificate, or can obtain one within the first 30 days of starting the role.
