The Licensed Vocational Nurse has accountability and responsibility for selected aspects of patient care of a designated group of patients within the LVN scope of practice, and in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. The LVN is assigned, delegated, and supervised by an LVN Supervisor, RN Charge Nurse, or MD who has overall responsibility for the coordination and management of care.
