About the position
The position involves administering immunizations, obtaining medical histories, collecting specimens, and providing education and counseling to clients. The role requires administering vaccines and other injections to children and adults in a clinic setting, conducting patient education and counseling, and functioning as a preceptor for co-workers and students. Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited high school/GED program.
- Completion of an accredited vocational school of nursing program.
- Licensed in the State of Texas to practice vocational nursing.
- No experience required.
- Must be able to perform specialized nursing skills.
