The role requires collaboration with other healthcare team members to ensure the delivery of timely, safe, and quality care across the continuum. Responsibilities

  • Provide care under the direction of a registered nurse within the scope of the Vocational Nurse Practice Act.
  • Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Follow patient identification procedures and provide appropriate information for all patient procedures.
  • Collect and handle specimens as required.
  • Assess and implement prescribed interventions for patients.
  • Implement and document discharge plans for each patient.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Current LVN License to practice in the State of California.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • One or more years of experience in a healthcare facility.
  • Basic keyboarding skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
