Responsibilities

• Completes focused assessments of patients.
• Assists in developing and implementing care plans.
• Coordinates tests and therapeutic procedures.
• Implements ordered treatments through telephonic and direct patient care.
• Educates patients on their proper care and treatment.
• Manages medication refills and adheres to medication schedules.
• Supports and guides unlicensed staff.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a licensed vocational nurse.
• Graduate of an approved school of vocational nursing.
• Unrestricted license to practice in the State of Texas.
• BLS certification.
