About the position
Maxim Healthcare in San Jose is seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide exceptional care to Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes. This role is crucial in ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care tailored to their individual needs. As an LVN, you will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring that all actions are in accordance with prescribed orders. You will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care/services on each assignment, which includes assessing signs and symptoms that indicate physiological and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition. In this position, you will collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare team members, documenting actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses. Your expertise will play a vital role in the overall health and well-being of the patients you serve, making a significant impact in their lives. Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
- Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as an LVN in the state in which the LVN will practice.
- Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
- Current BLS card.
- One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
