About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including primary care, behavioral health, and travel nursing. As an LVN, you will play a crucial role in supporting the healthcare team and ensuring the well-being of our patients through effective communication and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care.
• Assist with primary care assessments and develop patient care plans.
• Perform sonography and medical imaging procedures as needed.
• Provide support in behavioral health settings, ensuring a safe environment for patients.
• Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection.
• Experience administering injections and IV infusions as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and treatment plans.

Requirements

• Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice.
• Strong knowledge of medical records management and medication administration.
• Experience in primary care, sonography, or medical imaging is preferred.
• Background in behavioral health nursing is a plus.
• Proficiency in aseptic technique and experience with injections and IV infusions.
• Willingness to participate in travel nursing assignments if necessary.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Compassionate attitude towards patient care with a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Sonography is preferred.
• Background in behavioral health nursing is a plus.
