About the position

The LX Designer - Product/VAS role at Visa involves collaborating with the Visa University team to design and deliver innovative learning experiences that enhance product knowledge and management excellence across the organization. This position requires a strong focus on human-centered design and stakeholder management, with the goal of creating impactful learning solutions that drive business performance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with VU's Growth & Functional Learning Team to design and deliver learning experiences supporting product knowledge and fluency across Visa.
• Leverage technical acumen to understand fundamental product information and translate that knowledge into consumable learning experiences.
• Work with SMEs to understand learning needs and apply design thinking and adult learning principles to create effective learning solutions.
• Develop engaging, innovative, accessible, and scalable global learning solutions in various formats (e.g., ILT, vILT, e-Learning).
• Support user acceptance testing, conduct quality control checks, analyze feedback, and implement changes.
• Engage with vendors to manage project deliverables and act as a conduit between SMEs and the vendor.
• Collaborate with project management and delivery teams to ensure seamless implementation of learning solutions.
• Share best practices and expertise in learning design with a community of learning experience designers.
• Stay updated on industry developments and identify new learning technologies and approaches.

Requirements

• Three to five years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree or at least two years of work experience with an advanced degree.
• Ability to develop working technical and product expertise for designing learning solutions.
• Experience in using human-centered design principles and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, Agile, Design Thinking).
• Proficiency with common authoring tools (e.g., Storyline, Rise, Synthesia, Camtasia) and experience in modern learning channels.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to translate content into multimedia experiences.
• Ability to adapt quickly to change and tackle unfamiliar tasks with enthusiasm.

Nice-to-haves

• Five or more years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or four or more years with an advanced degree.
• Experience designing technical product knowledge training for a global audience.
• Familiarity with design thinking principles and adaptive learning platforms.
• Knowledge of the payments industry.
