About the position

The M&H Valve Supply Chain Intern position is designed for students pursuing a degree in engineering or a related technical field. This internship provides hands-on experience in product engineering within the heavy manufacturing industry, allowing interns to apply classroom concepts to real-world business challenges. The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and adaptability while promoting the core principles of The McWane Way.

Responsibilities

• Proactively promotes The McWane Way principles.
• Document processes that provide work instructions for inventory control, planning, and purchasing.
• Must have Tango experience.
• Apply classroom concepts and skills to real-world business challenges.
• May assist with cycle counting.
• Assist in establishing home locations for parts.
• Updates and maintains the product MOVE SHEET database.

Requirements

• Must be a junior, senior, or graduate student enrolled in an accredited college, university, or master's program, preferably in a supply chain or business discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required.
• Detail-oriented, thorough, and precise in task completion.
• Self-starter with the ability to take limited input and direction.
