About the position

The M&Q Sr. Director Digital Quality Labs Program Manager at Lilly is responsible for leading the Digital Lab of the Future transformation program. This role involves developing and implementing Lab Information Management and Lab Execution strategies, providing technical leadership, and ensuring the quality of operations across the enterprise. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in Quality Lab processes and to integrate new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence into lab operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Digital Lab of the Future program, focusing on Lab Information Management and Lab Execution.
• Provide technical leadership and governance for Digital Quality labs across the enterprise.
• Lead transformation initiatives to digitalize labs and enable new technologies.
• Coach and mentor program team members on best practices and standards.
• Collaborate with QC leadership and peer leaders to deliver MQ digital transformation programs in Quality.
• Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making at all leadership levels.
• Monitor and stay abreast of evolving business and technology trends in Digital Quality Labs.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee program management activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 7+ years in IT leadership, Program Manager roles, and Quality and Manufacturing strategies.
• Strong understanding of corporate computer system validation requirements according to Lilly Quality Standards.
• Experience with cGMP regulations and Data Integrity requirements in a highly regulated environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Labvantage LIMS and LES, NuGenesis, EMPOWER, BINOCS, IoT edge, Tulip Frontline Operations in Manufacturing and Quality.
• Familiarity with Lab automation systems and Instrument integrations.
