Responsibilities

• Utilize database access tools for application delivery, such as Informatica or Oracle OCI.
• Develop, implement, and maintain data warehouses and data marts.
• Build and manage data dictionaries using business objects.
• Conduct analysis, planning, and management reporting functions.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and motivate employees.
• Apply data warehousing data population and modeling techniques, including Star and Snowflake schemas.
• Implement enterprise-class databases like Teradata, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Utilize analytical and reporting tools such as Business Objects, Cognos, or MicroStrategy.
• Manage the data warehouse implementation process from business requirements to data loading.

Requirements

• 7 years of extensive experience in using database access tools for application delivery.
• 5 years of strong knowledge of database management systems and data warehouse management.
• 5 years of experience in the development, implementation, and maintenance of data warehouses and data marts.
• 5 years of experience in building data dictionaries using business objects.
• 5 years of familiarity with analysis, planning, and management reporting functions.
• 5 years of well-developed oral and written communication skills.
• 5 years of strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• 5 years of high analytical ability to solve unusual and difficult problems.
• 5 years of understanding of benchmarking processes and techniques.
• 5 years of high interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and motivate employees.
• 5 years of experience with data modeling techniques for target structures.
• 5 years of experience with GUI-based ETL tools such as Informatica or IBM WebSphere DataStage.
• 5 years of implementation experience with enterprise-class databases.
