About the position

The M365 & Client Services Manager at McLane Company is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the activities of the M365 & Client Services team to ensure an efficient and cost-effective end-user computing environment. This role involves leading problem management, coordinating operations, and supporting objectives to maximize end-user productivity through technology. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office work three days a week, and is focused on maintaining a stable and responsive device infrastructure while enhancing the digital user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a device infrastructure that provides flexibility and responsiveness to support business productivity needs.
  • Create a support structure that ensures high-quality, stable environments across M365 and client device environments.
  • Lead client performance assessments and implement laptop and desktop technologies across the organization.
  • Set up client performance and health monitoring, establishing proactive measures to avoid issues.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure team and device/environment performance.
  • Identify and implement solutions to enhance digital user experience and efficiency from M365 and laptop usage.
  • Secure and protect the company's technology assets through knowledge of DLP and sensitivity labeling.
  • Own and improve processes across M365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and M365 applications.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and McLane audit requirements for all clients, accounts, and groups.
  • Foster a work environment that recognizes accomplishments and promotes teamwork.
  • Manage activities of teams and coordinate end-user computer-related requests to meet customer requirements in a timely manner.
  • Develop and manage the expense budget for M365 and Client Services teams, analyzing expenses and making recommendations to maximize returns.
  • Manage projects and collaborate with internal technology teams to identify support needs for project deployment and rollout.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems or related field.
  • 5 years of experience working with end-user computing and device management.
  • M365 certification strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of M365 / PC fundamentals.
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours to complete objectives and resolve issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • 3 or more years' experience leading a team of peers or direct reports in a fast-paced environment.
