About the position

The M365 & Client Services Manager at McLane Company, Inc. is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the activities of the M365 & Client Services team. This role aims to provide an efficient and cost-effective end-user computing environment, enhancing productivity through technology. The position requires leadership in problem management, operations, and the implementation of solutions to maximize user experience and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and direct the activities of the M365 & Client Services team.
  • Lead and coordinate problem management, objectives, and operations.
  • Support objectives and solutions to maximize end user productivity through technology.
  • Maintain a device infrastructure that provides flexibility and responsiveness.
  • Create a support structure that provides high quality, stable environments across M365 and client device environments.
  • Lead client performance assessment and implementation of laptop and desktop technologies.
  • Setup client performance and health monitoring and establish proactive measures to avoid issues.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure team and device/environment performance.
  • Identify and implement solutions that drive higher Digital User experience and efficiency from M365 and laptop usage.
  • Secure and protect the company's technology assets through knowledge of DLP and sensitivity labeling.
  • Own and improve processes across M365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and M365 applications.
  • Ensure all clients, accounts, and groups are maintained to industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Foster a work environment with appropriate recognition of accomplishments and teamwork.
  • Manage activities of teams and coordinate end user computer related requests.
  • Develop and manage expense budget for M365 and Client Services teams.
  • Analyze and report on expenses with recommendations for maximizing returns and reducing costs.
  • Manage projects and work with internal technology teams to identify support needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems or related field.
  • 5 years of experience working with end user computing and device management.
  • M365 certification strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of M365 / PC fundamentals.
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours to complete objectives and resolve issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • 3 or more years' experience leading a team of peers or direct reports.
