About the position

The M365 Expert - Project Manager/Business Analyst role is focused on governing and implementing features in an M365 government tenant. The position requires a well-rounded M365 professional who can collaborate with customers, enterprise support, and Microsoft to provide implementation advice and best practices. The candidate will also support the current M365 project manager by providing technical expertise and assisting in product adoption.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers, Enterprise Support, and Microsoft to govern and implement features in an M365 government tenant.
• Provide implementation advice and best practices for M365 features and functions.
• Participate in M365 tenant administration, particularly around SharePoint, OneDrive, and MS Teams.
• Elicit and document requirements, create project documents such as proposals and schedules, and lead projects to successful conclusions.
• Support the current M365 project manager by providing technical expertise and championing the product.
• Review the Microsoft roadmap for M365, identify changes that need attention, and address those changes with appropriate support teams and customers.
• Identify and document tenant settings affecting end user features in a central repository.
• Participate in the workflow to review settings and help determine changes when features change or new features are introduced.

Requirements

• Broad knowledge of all features and functions in M365.
• Experience in M365 tenant administration, particularly with SharePoint, OneDrive, and MS Teams.
• Strong project management and business analysis skills.
• Ability to elicit and document requirements effectively.
• Experience creating project documents such as proposals and schedules.

Nice-to-haves

• PowerShell scripting knowledge.
• PowerApps development experience.
• PowerBI dashboard development experience.
