About the position
The M365/O365 Digital Workplace Solutions Specialist is responsible for leading the implementation of collaboration platforms using Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. This role involves assessing current IT infrastructure, planning migrations, configuring services, and ensuring user adoption and training. The specialist will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, manage project timelines, and facilitate organizational change management.
Responsibilities
- Assess current IT infrastructure and readiness for migration to M365.
- Plan and develop strategies for M365 migration.
- Conduct data migration from existing systems to M365.
- Configure, set up, and implement M365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Intune.
- Implement the Office 365 application suite and ensure proper security and governance practices.
- Provide user training and adoption support post-migration.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure project success.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop and deliver training materials for end-users.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 implementation and administration.
- Proven experience in Business Analysis and Project Management methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) is a plus.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Power Apps Platform is a plus.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace tools.
