About the position

C5T Corporation is currently seeking a MA Operations Information Environment Analyst for our USTRANSCOM Mission Assurance Team. This department plays a crucial role in synchronizing risk management activities across the Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise, providing actionable risk information to key decision-makers. The position involves a variety of tasks including Mission Decomposition, Risk to Mission/Risk to Force assessments, Continuity of Operations Planning, Emergency Management, Information Operations, policy and governance reviews, and Mission Assurance Assessments. Additionally, the role includes the integration of cyber risk across the spectrum of Mission Assurance related programs and activities. As a key member of a dynamic team of experts, the analyst will directly support the Command's Operations in the Information Environment (OIE) activities. This includes collaboration with OIE community subject matter experts to support information analysis related to USTRANSCOM's roles and responsibilities as identified in the Unified Command Plan and the priorities set by the Commander of USTRANSCOM. The analyst will be responsible for providing a working understanding of OIE requirements relevant to USTRANSCOM's global missions and the implications of various measures on the broader Department of Defense. The duties of the analyst will include identifying Critical Information and Indicators, recommending Operations Security countermeasures, and conducting research, gathering, and analyzing information and data from various sources associated with USTRANSCOM's global mission. The role also emphasizes continuous integrated process and program improvement as opportunities are discovered, ensuring that the team remains agile and responsive to the evolving operational landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Command's Operations in the Information Environment (OIE) activities.
  • Collaborate with OIE community subject matter experts for information analysis related to USTRANSCOM's roles and responsibilities.
  • Provide a working understanding of OIE requirements relevant to USTRANSCOM's global missions.
  • Identify Critical Information and Indicators and recommend Operations Security countermeasures.
  • Research, gather, and analyze information and data from various sources associated with USTRANSCOM's global mission.
  • Provide continuous integrated process and program improvement as opportunities are discovered.

Requirements

  • Top Secret Level Security Clearance required.
  • Four years of direct mission assurance experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, cyber security, or a related field (experience in place of education will be considered).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional time-management and task prioritization skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience coordinating issues with multiple military services and combatant command staffs.
  • Experience at USTRANSCOM or its Component Commands.
  • Confidence in drafting and briefing analysis to senior executives (General Officer).
