About the position

The MAC Supervisor at Hudson is responsible for leading a team of beauty advisors to ensure exceptional customer service and meet sales targets. This role involves providing expert knowledge on MAC products, managing store operations, and maintaining visual presentation standards. The supervisor will also participate in training and store events, while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of beauty advisors, ensuring exceptional customer service and achievement of sales targets.
  • Provide expert knowledge on MAC products, trends, and techniques to both staff and customers.
  • Handle opening and closing procedures, including cash counts and shift management, following company policies.
  • Demonstrate makeup tutorials to customers and share expert knowledge.
  • Help oversee the sales floor alongside store management.
  • Collaborate with the team to keep displays fresh and restock products.
  • Deliver top-notch customer service to boost productivity.
  • Use the customer database to keep in touch about product launches and events.
  • Maintain all visual presentation standards and guidelines for displays, signage, lighting, and props.
  • Be the go-to person for product info and store details for both customers and staff.
  • Participate in training, education, and store meetings.
  • Get involved in store theme days, events, new product launches, and training sessions.
  • Gather and share product feedback from staff and customers with the team leader.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to store management on staff performance.
  • Assist with moving merchandise from stock areas to the sales floor efficiently.
  • Help with inventory preparation and accuracy.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required, college degree a plus.
  • Experience in the cosmetic field, sales, and application.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a key holder in a service-oriented environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Must be completely reliable.
  • Professional attitude, flexibility, and a positive approach to change.
  • Availability to work 35-40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
  • Moderate physical effort required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with makeup tutorials and demonstrations.
  • Familiarity with customer database systems.
