About the position

The Key Holder position at Estée Lauder is a part-time role focused on supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in the efficient operation of the store. The Key Holder will lead by example, providing exceptional customer service and coaching the sales team to meet sales targets. Responsibilities include cash handling, store opening and closing, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in daily operations.
  • Model behaviors for the sales team to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve sales and customer service targets.
  • Perform cash reconciliation at the start and end of the day.
  • Open and close the store on a rotational basis.

Requirements

  • Proven retail experience, preferably in cosmetics.
  • Ability to provide inspirational and personalized customer service.
  • Previous experience in retail operations, including cash reconciliation, is desirable.
  • Previous supervisory experience, including coaching and mentoring, is desirable.
  • Ability to work flexible retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with retail point-of-sale software.
