About the position

The Machine and Robotic Automation Engineer at Direct Design and Fabrication is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems and machinery to enhance efficiency and productivity for clients. This role involves collaboration with engineering and production teams to identify automation opportunities and oversee the implementation process from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated systems using robotics, PLCs, and other technologies
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to identify automation opportunities
• Develop and maintain documentation for automated systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated machinery
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Provide training and support to staff on automated systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• Proven experience in designing and implementing automated systems
• Strong knowledge of robotics, PLCs, and other automation technologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
