About the position

The Machine Design Mechanical Engineer - Aerospace will engage in hands-on design work, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance design processes while ensuring compliance with customer and industry specifications. The role requires a strong understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing processes, particularly in the aerospace sector.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve design processes.
• Create and interpret technical drawings, including GD&T.
• Ensure adherence to customer and industry specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement in design methodologies.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of material properties and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with CNC Machining and Non-Destructive Testing methods.
• Knowledge of Mechanical Testing techniques such as Tensile and Hardness testing.
• Experience working in an ISO/AS9100 facility, specifically in aerospace.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with 3D printing design principles.
• Experience in a fast-paced engineering environment.
