About the position

The Machine Learning Data Scientist position at Decision Technologies, Inc. involves supporting the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) and Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific in the digital transformation of Naval Operational Architecture. The role focuses on model-based systems engineering and cybersecurity engineering for next-generation Naval information systems and tactical networks. Candidates must possess a strong background in engineering services for the Navy or the Department of Defense (DoD) and hold an active security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Review, assess, and provide advice in the development of engineering processes for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) programs and projects.
• Validate data and develop technical models that document architectures, specifications, and requirements for AI/ML and related Data initiatives.
• Assess and provide advice in the development, review, and publishing of AI/ML architectures, standards, competency development models.
• Analyze and author technical papers describing data strategies, data implementation plans, and other critical data technologies to support AI/ML.

Requirements

• Three years of professional experience in data science.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
