About the position

Yobi is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer (MLE) to join their Applications team, which focuses on bringing user-behavioral foundation models to market. This role is crucial for creating scalable, profitable products powered by machine learning, and involves significant 0-to-1 development. The MLE will collaborate with various teams to enhance product offerings and drive impactful results in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize machine learning models and metrics for Yobi Applications products.
• Collaborate with Product and core signals MLEs to build holistic ML-powered products.
• Drive results across multiple domains to deliver complete ML-powered solutions.
• Engage in continuous experimentation and improvement of existing products.
• Contribute to orchestration, CI/CD, and data computation backends as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in AdTech and a strong product intuition for the space.
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and their application in consumer-facing problems.
• Proficiency in orchestration tools like Airflow, build systems like Bazel, and CI/CD processes.
• Familiarity with data computation backends such as Spark, with experience in Python and Scala.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with recommender systems and personalization techniques.
• Strong product sense and ability to provide insights on product-market fit.
