About the position

The Autonomy ML Infrastructure team at Nuro is focused on building and enhancing the core infrastructure necessary for the company's autonomous technology initiatives. This role involves designing, building, and deploying machine learning model life cycle components to support the development of self-driving robots, ensuring robust and scalable solutions that push the boundaries of autonomous delivery systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable and robust ML pipelines for training large models and deploying them in production.
• Collaborate closely with machine learning domain experts and engineers across various teams to design and implement end-to-end ML solutions.
• Build frameworks and interfaces to accelerate machine learning development and maximize the utilization of hardware capabilities.
• Write robust, high-quality software to increase confidence in the vehicle's ability to navigate safely on-road.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in ML infrastructure or large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with ML fundamentals and deep learning frameworks (like PyTorch, Jax, Tensorflow, Keras), especially around scalability, optimizations, profiling, etc.
• Proficient in Python and working experience with C++.
• Passionate about accelerating the benefits of robotics for everyday life.
