Our Trust and Safety engineering team is rapidly expanding and is responsible for developing machine learning models and systems to combat internet abuse and fraud on our platform. This role is crucial as it aims to protect billions of users and publishers globally every day. We leverage state-of-the-art machine learning technologies to analyze and improve the vast amounts of data generated on TikTok, ensuring the best user experience and joy for everyone. As a machine learning engineer on our team, you will lead the development of trust and safety machine learning production models. Your work will involve creating image classifiers, object detectors, video understanding models, and multi-modal classifiers. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to implement model pipelines and deploy services at scale. Additionally, you will work with product teams to define objectives and enhance our trust and safety strategy, as well as partner with data analysts to identify and understand data patterns. We are looking for candidates who are not only technically proficient but also passionate about learning and tackling challenging problems.
