As part of the Global E-commerce Supply Chain Team, we are dedicated to enhancing clients' shopping experiences and reducing operational costs in the supply chain of TikTok E-commerce. This is achieved by developing end-to-end algorithm capabilities using machine learning, computer vision, multimodal techniques, operations research, data mining, and causal inference methods. We are seeking an exceptional and motivated Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in Computer Vision (CV), Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC), or Multimodal technologies to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to apply state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to solve challenging problems in the e-commerce supply chain and logistics domain. Your contributions will enable the team to improve operational efficiency and personalize customer experiences through advanced technologies like computer vision and multimodality. You will be responsible for exploring cutting-edge technologies, applying AIGC in content commerce, and optimizing CV/multimodal/AIGC-related models, including image understanding, generation, and editing. Responsibilities

• Explore cutting-edge technologies such as computer vision, AIGC, and multimodal machine learning in the field of content commerce.
• Apply AIGC technologies to empower various aspects of e-commerce, including merchandising and product image optimization.
• Optimize and iterate CV/multimodal/AIGC-related models, focusing on image understanding, generation, and editing.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field with excellent programming skills in C/C++/Python.
• Familiarity with model training frameworks such as TensorFlow/PyTorch, understanding of mixed precision training, distributed training, and TensorRT deployment.
• In-depth research in a specific area of computer vision/multimodality, with strong practical skills and a preference for candidates who have published papers in related competitions and top academic conferences.
• Experience in e-commerce or multimodal/AIGC, including image and video understanding and generation, is preferred.
• Good learning ability, excellent communication skills, strong responsibility, and a proactive and enthusiastic attitude.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with large-scale machine learning systems.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of data mining and causal inference methods.
