The E-Commerce Business Growth - Data Compass team is dedicated to enhancing the operational efficiency of merchants and creators on our e-commerce platform. This role focuses on optimizing various aspects of e-commerce, including merchandise strategy, user operation, and marketing, through algorithm-driven solutions. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in improving the working efficiency of e-commerce merchants, influencers, and account managers, ultimately driving the growth of sellers' products, customers, and revenue. In this position, you will participate in the optimization of sellers' operations, which includes providing marketing insights, assortment planning, customer relationship management (CRM), anomaly detection, and diagnostic attribution. You will also be involved in optimizing merchandise operations through seasonal and trend analysis, supply and demand analysis, and product growth analysis, ensuring that products align with associated traffic. Additionally, you will work on enhancing marketing strategies and the Return on Investment (ROI) for sellers and influencers in TikTok's e-commerce live streaming, short video, and ShopTab. Your responsibilities will also include analyzing and conducting feature engineering for massive datasets, such as customer profiling and e-commerce transactions, and deploying model pipelines. You will utilize advanced techniques like representation learning, graph modeling, causal inference, and time series forecasting to assist merchants and influencers in problem-solving and discovering growth opportunities.
