About the position

The Algorithm Technical Manager at TikTok will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and trustworthiness of the e-commerce marketplace. This position focuses on designing and implementing algorithms to detect and control risks and fraud related to content, products, sellers, and creators. The role requires collaboration with various teams to define products and drive initiatives from an engineering perspective, all while maintaining a strong commitment to customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement algorithms to detect and control risks/frauds in contents/products/sellers/creators.
• Collaborate with strategy team, product managers, policy team, and ops team to define products and drive initiatives from engineering viewpoints.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 3+ years of working experience in machine learning, NLP, or computer vision.
• Experience with software development in C++, Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience in anti-fraud/anti-spam/platform-integrity or related fields is a plus.
• Strong sense of responsibility and good communication and teamwork skills.
