About the position

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join the Security Innovation team within Global Services Security (GSS). This role focuses on developing AI/ML solutions that enhance security for AWS customers, leveraging expertise in machine learning, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. The position offers the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams and contribute to innovative projects at the intersection of AI/ML and security.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with product, engineering, and science teams to design, build, and deploy end-to-end machine learning solutions
• Optimize and scale machine learning models for production environments
• Implement data pipelines and infrastructure for model training and serving
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate ML solutions into applications
• Monitor and maintain deployed ML models and solutions

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Experience with Python and frameworks such as Pytorch, TensorFlow
• 3+ years experience developing and deploying large-scale machine learning models and/or applications in production

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Hands-on experience building models with deep learning frameworks
• Experience with serverless, event-driven architectures in AWS
