About the position

The E-commerce Recommendation Team at TikTok is focused on developing and scaling advanced recommendation systems to enhance the shopping experience for users. Responsibilities

• Conduct cutting-edge research in machine learning algorithms, including retrieval and recommendation algorithms.
• Build large-scale e-commerce recommendation algorithms and systems, such as commodity recommendations, live stream recommendations, and short video recommendations.
• Develop long and short term user interest models and analyze large datasets to extract relevant information.
• Design algorithms to efficiently explore users' latent interests.
• Apply machine learning algorithms to improve various business scenarios, including search ranking and natural language understanding.

Requirements

• Current or recent graduates with a background in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience in applied machine learning, familiar with algorithms such as Collaborative Filtering, Matrix Factorization, and Deep Neural Networks.
• Proficiency in Deep Learning Tools such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with at least one programming language like C++ or Python.
• Must obtain and maintain work authorization in the country of employment.
